Centennial Correctional Facility has a vacancy for a professional Librarian. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a team of Library Technicians, including hiring recommendations, training and evaluation. Under the direction of a Program Manager and Regional Librarian, this full-time position will plan, coordinate and supervise public/school-type (not law) library services to adult offenders at two libraries, where an average of 90% of the population uses the library.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in library science or related field, (e.g. library informatics, library media technology) is required; a master's degree in library science or related field is preferred.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Professional library work experience that provided the same kind, amount and level of knowledge acquired in the required education, may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the bachelor's degree.
