Job Description

The Arthur Lakes Library of Colorado School of Mines invites applications for the position of Electronic Resources and Collection Assessment Librarian.

The position provides life-cycle management of the Library’s electronic resources and performs collection analysis, assessment, and oversight. Duties include coordination of activities related to the Library’s licensed electronic resources; working with vendors to troubleshoot access issues and remain current on vendors’ technologies; configuring and maintaining the usage assessment analysis tool (UStat); developing knowledge of the Library’s collections and Mines’ curricular focus; and evaluating and utilizing current research on collection analysis and assessment.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in library science from an ALA accredited school and experience managing electronic resources in an academic library.
