Job Description
Holland & Hart LLP is seeking a dynamic individual to shape and guide the Firm’s KM initiatives. This individual will work closely with the Library, IT and Practice Support teams to meet the information needs of a sophisticated multi-disciplinary law practice. The coordinator will provide knowledge management solutions for the Firm’s attorneys and paraprofessionals and work with administrative departments. This position would also have an advisory role to improve firm systems.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and a proven track record in knowledge management services and practices in a law firm environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Advanced degree (JD, MLS) a plus. This position will report to the Director of Knowledge & Research Services.
Responsibilities:
- Support the firm on content as well as best practices for shared knowledge management. Apply project management experience and principles to key strategic and operations projects as well as to new content development requests.
- Use technical skills to support the delivery and development of the SharePoint shared platform to provide simple and innovative solutions to the firm. Build strong relationships within the firm and be seen as a go to for the improvement of KM systems and shared data as well as reporting.
- Direct responsibility for maintaining and improving the accessibility, utilization and discovery of digital resources.
- Integrate information from departments and functions throughout the firm to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information, both internally and externally.
- Interact with the staff members, attorneys, department leadership and clients. Act as a liaison to answer queries of clients and staff about knowledge management products and practices.
- Partner with other departments to perform configurations and collaborate on solutions to ensure standards are followed.

Required skills and experience include:
- Working knowledge of SharePoint
- Experience in a professional services firm
- Familiarity with Knowledge strategy objectives
- Proven ability to manage digital resources

- Be self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with attorneys and professional staff
- Enthusiastically embrace technological advancement, and perform well under pressure
- Able to perform with minimal direct supervision
