Job Description

Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with a specific group of vendor partners and gaining general product knowledge about those vendor partners’ products and services. - Handles all aspects of sales and services to members for a variety of products and services, including ordering, renewals, follow-up calls, shipping and billing. - Provides telephone and e-mail support for member questions. - Maintains working relationship with selected vendor partners. Acts as a liaison between the member and the vendor partner. - Works with the Marketing & Support team and HR & Communications team to develop and implement marketing materials for products and services. - Develops and documents agreements, processes and procedures for working with vendor partners on specific products and services - Provides support on products and services to BCR staff “in-the-field” from across the organization, including general education and overview of products and product enhancements; ordering, renewal and billing issues information; troubleshooting; and guidance in message and presentation approach for various products and services. Serves as backup for Marketing & Support team staff responsible for traveling. - Provides information for and edits online ordering forms and informational Web pages. Coordinates Web page efforts with cross-functional Web team.

Additional Info & Requirements

- Previous experience supporting electronic software products. - Experience working in a library, library consortium or other nonprofit organization is desirable. - Working knowledge of computers and software, especially Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access and Internet software including Web Browsers and HTML. - Ability to maintain high level of accuracy in detailed work. - Flexibility in adapting to a variety of work assignments. - Good organizational, research, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
