Summary Description:
Serves as a liaison to the Natural Sciences Division. Coordinates research/reference services and works with librarians and staff in a highly collaborative and collegial environment to serve the students and faculty of Colorado College.
Required Qualifications:
Masters of Library Science from an ALA accredited institution plus a minimum of two years professional academic library experience including a background in the Natural Sciences. Experience providing library instruction services and working collaboratively to design and deliver instructional programs. General academic reference experience; familiarity with a broad range of research databases and current knowledge of database and Web search engines. Knowledge of current library and social networking technology. Knowledge of emerging information technologies and trends in scholarly communication. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing research/reference services.
