Job Description
The Garfield County Public Library District is seeking a skilled and self-motivated individual to serve as the Marketing/Outreach Coordinator. This person will be assisting the Public Relations Manager with all promotion of the Library District and will be based out of the District Support Services office in Rifle, Colorado. Duties include entering website content and events on the website calendar, keeping social media sites current and fresh, writing PSAs and press releases, assisting with community outreach events, and assisting with merchandising and displays.
Bachelor's degree, one year of library experience, marketing experience, and/or Spanish language skills preferred. This is a part time (30 hours per week), non-exempt position. Hiring range is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour (DOE) plus some benefits.
Additional Info & Requirements
- Experience in marketing management, public speaking, and training preferred
- Social media marketing
- Experience using Content Management Systems (Drupal, WordPress, etc.)
