Job Description

Join a Library engaged in a community-driven facilities and services planning process and help create and deliver an innovative and exciting future to the residents of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Leadership position responsible for effectively managing operations and activities of an assigned library location; participates in system-wide planning and projects; actively engages the community and ensures service aligns with local residents’ needs; oversees collection; interacts with and provides direct library services to customers.

  • Will be customer-focused; an excellent communicator and supervisor; have a proven ability to lead and implement change, develop and support staff, and participate in a system that believes in continual improvement.

Pay Grade:  $5,470.79 - $7,572.85 monthly, FLSA Exempt, Management (non-union represented) position.

Required Qualifications: MLS or MLIS, at least five (5) years librarian experience,  including three (3) years supervisory experience in public library services, including demonstrated ability to implement strategic library objectives with measurable outcomes, work with elected officials and government, effectively supervise and motivate staff, and develop and maintain positive relationships with community.
