Job Description
This is a student position. You must be currently enrolled in an ALA accredited graduate program in library/information science.
The University of Colorado Denver’s Auraria Library seeks a motivated and professional student assistant that is currently enrolled in a MLIS degree program with an interest in Technical Services and/or library assessment. This position offers an opportunity to learn about collections assessment and data analysis in a professional library environment.
Examples of Work Performed:
- Assisting the Collections Analyst with gathering, inputting, and organizing data.
- Communicating with vendors and other stakeholders to ensure information accuracy.
- Integrated library system maintenance and ensuring standardization of institutional knowledge management.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule: 10-15 hours per week. Hours are flexible Monday-Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm.
Compensation: $16.12/hr.
