9-month temporary appointment
Two positions available
The University of Colorado Denver’s Auraria Library seeks two customer service oriented professionals to fill our 9-month temporary Access and Public Service Specialist positions. These positions will provide top-notch service to student and public users at the Auraria Library. These positions will staff the Ask Us Desk, which serves as the Library’s primary information hub.
Job Overview:
- Provide front-line customer service to Library users including; checking books in and out, answering mid-level research questions and resolving technology issues
- Provide customer service coaching and training to colleagues and student employees
- Assist in implementation of policies and procedures
Schedule: 30 hours per week. Two shifts available: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:00pm or 1:00pm-7:30pm.
Compensation: $18-$20/hr commensurate with skills and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in libraries or higher education settings
- Supervisory experience
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
