Job Description
Responsible for support of district staff including teachers, technology coordinators, technology technicians, librarians and administrators as they design instruction utilizing current and new technologies; assists with the integration of Educational Technology into instructional and administrative practice; emphasizes personalized learning, while strategically using technology in the educational setting; assists educators in helping students use tools, techniques and technology creatively, efficiently and ethically in the pursuit of knowledge, while exercising critical thinking and problem solving skills and communicating in a global society; works collaboratively with the Director of Information Technology – Educational Services (IT-ES) and the District Media Specialist on all projects related to the integration of Educational Technology and Future Ready skills.
Additional Info & Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of teaching in a K-12 library environment
- 3 years of experience in integrating technology and information literacy into standards-based curricula
- Post-secondary or corporate training environment
