JCPL is looking for individuals with strong customer service skills who are interested in assisting patrons in finding just the right book, answering unusual research questions, or helping with information technology needs.
Public Services Substitutes support daily service delivery to library patrons in the absence of location Librarians and Associates. Public Services Substitutes are on-call temporary staff who may work at any of JCPL's ten locations or the Bookmobile up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. Schedules may be arranged in advance or for last minute needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
