Job Description

Duties:    Start date June 19th

  • Assists with special projects.
  • Copy cataloging marc records from Library of Congress and Worldcat into Library World.
  • Provides research assistance/reference and APA to Faculty and students.
  • Check in, check out, shelving of books.
  • Updates Faculty and student usage statistics.
  • Proctors Assessment Technologies Incorporated test for potential nursing students.
  • Assists with weeding of the collection and suggestions for collection development.
  • Processes Inter-Library loan for medical articles via the government Docline system.
  • Assists Information Specialist with library instruction as needed.
  • Collaborates with faculty in creating the textbook list in Excel and ensuring the faculty have their adopted textbooks/online resources for classes.
  • Serves on operational committees.
