Job Description

Be part of a vibrant, well-used and well-loved library in beautiful Jackson Hole, Wyoming!  Teton County Library is seeking a forward-thinking, service-oriented librarian who is passionate about getting the books and materials patrons crave, into their hands.  Lead the Collection Services team in performing acquisitions and purchasing, cataloging, technical services, circulation services and Interlibrary loan, as well as managing the library materials budget ($200,000 annually) and materials selection policies.  The successful candidate is a leader with proven results in managing popular materials collections, developing and improving systems for efficiency, analyzing data, cultivating vendor relationships and fostering productive and positive staff relationships.  Full-time, Exempt position with full benefits.  Starting salary:  $50,329 - $52,887, DOE.  Submit cover letter, resume and Teton County Library employment application to www.tclib.org/administration/employment.php, or in person at 125 Virginian Lane, Jackson, Wyoming.  Closing Date:  Monday, July 10, 2017, at 5:00 pm.

Under general supervision, the Collection Services Manager manages the centralized Library collection services division including: policies, collection development budget; acquisitions and purchasing; cataloging; technical services, Interlibrary loan and circulation.  Assures that system-wide materials management policies for Library materials are followed; assures the Library collection is responsive to community needs and provides a variety of informational, instructional and recreational materials.  Actively upholds the Library's stated mission, vision and values.  Performs other duties as required.
