Job Description

Reporting to the University Librarian, provides leadership and management of the library’s Impact & Innovation Department. Responsible for delivering high-impact instructional and learning services, high quality information resources and discovery services, and innovative uses of technology and assessment strategies, that advance WPI research, instruction, community engagement, and other library programs and initiatives. Provides guidance and mentorship for a team of diverse and skilled professionals, including eight librarians and one staff associate, in addition to student assistants. Serves as a senior member of the Gordon Library’s Leadership Team and collaborates with WPI academic, administrative, and IT programs, centers, and staff.

Additional Info & Requirements

At least two years experience delivering or leading library instructional services in an academic library, demonstrating understanding of best practices in creating high-impact learning experiences that advance student and researcher information literacies, including digital and scholarly communication literacies.
