Job Description
We are looking for someone who passionately believes in the importance of a public library in every child's life and wants to use their talents and creativity to encourage school age children to use the Eaton Public Library. This part time position requires a flexible schedule, experience in putting on events and programs, knowledge of children's reading interests and the desire to be part of a vibrant and positive work team. Prior work experience may be used in lieu of or to supplement educational requirement
Experience in a classroom setting is a plus!
The Community
Eaton is a small, largely agricultural community 6 miles north of Greeley, Colorado. The Eaton Public Library expanded to about 12,000 square feet in 2015, and provides an inviting venue for programs that can accomodate groups up to 200 people. We provide considerable outreach opportunities to the community as well. A beautiful new recreation center is opening this summer and we are eagerly planning additional collaborative programs for groups of all ages in that venue.
