We are seeking an innovative, dynamic and energetic individual to assist in the design and implementation of a new early literacy initiative. This newly created position will involve significant outreach to at-risk populations and requires someone who is collaborative, adaptable to change and has a positive outlook.
Cheyenne is in the southeast corner of Wyoming about 100 miles north of Denver, CO and covers 2,706 square miles. Cheyenne is the capital city of Wyoming. Laramie County has a population of about 96,000.
MLS/MLIS or social work degree from accredited college or university; 3 years of directly relevant experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional people skills, will be self-aware, self-directed and will be good at team building and community partnership. This candidate should possess exceptional written and oral communication skills as well the ability to perform before large groups while demonstrating good judgment and a willingness to take risks.
