Executive Assistant
Pay Grade: 40
Wages/Benefits: $19.29 - $26.09 /hr; plus part-time benefits
FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
Location: Administration, Greeley, CO
Hours: Part-time (20 hrs/week); Monday - Friday business hours, some evenings
Supervisor: Executive Director
Supervises: None
Deadline: Open until filled
ROLE: Provides administrative assistance to Executive Director, Board of Trustees and other District Support Services departments.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
30% - OFFICE SUPPORT – Word-processes documents, calculates data, creates and develops spreadsheets, organizes information and reports, graphs, charts, forms, manuals, presentations, and assists with District Support Services projects in order to provide administrative support. E
30% - MEETING SUPPORT – Prepares and distributes meeting agendas, takes minutes at Board of Trustee meetings, work sessions and management meetings; formats minutes for distribution; identifies decisions made, and routes minutes; makes room arrangements and sets up refreshments in order to provide meeting support. E
15% - RESEARCH & REPORTS – Researches topics, summarizes information, and presents findings; gathers data and provides statistical reports, and updates ongoing statistical reports in order to provide research and statistical summaries. E
25% - OTHER DUTIES – Schedules events in the public meeting room, answers and transfers incoming telephone calls, greets visitors at the front desk, and offers assistance to all those seeking help in order to provide customer service to the public, library district and staff; sets up refreshments at various events, and provides other assistance as needed in order to ensure the smooth operation of the department. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Associates Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) and previous experience in a similar position or any equivalent combination of experience which provides the critical success factors.
Experience:
Skill in Windows, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Excel, and PowerPoint
Able to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently (preferred)
Or any combination of education and experience which provides the success factors.
