Job Description

Are you experienced with coordinating programs and meetings? Consider joining our dedicated team at the Parker Library. We have a f/t opening (32 hrs/wk) for a Program Liaison position. The position requires some evening and weekend hours. Responsibilities include outreach to area businesses and organizations; developing, scheduling and assisting with a variety of programs for the library; maintaining meeting room activity calendars; tracking statistics; and being a programming liaison between the branch and the District’s Community Relations department.

Additional Info & Requirements

Starting salary is $12.35 per hour w/benefits and an evaluation in 6 mos. Requires a well organized and detail oriented person with strong skills in follow-through, negotiating and multi-tasking. Prior experience with coordinating of programs and meetings is preferred. Experience working with volunteers is a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
