Job Description
The University of Colorado Denver’s Auraria Library is hiring for a newly created Circulation Services Specialist position. This position serves as the person with primary responsibility for managing the circulation functions of the integrated library system (ILS).
- Design and revise processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Create and maintain patron types and loan rules.
- Provide top-notch customer service while serving at the main information service point for the Library.
- Assist in implementation of procedures and policies for Ask Us staff and students.
Work Schedule: This position is responsible for opening the Library Monday-Friday. The typical hours for this position are 7:30am-4:00pm. Occasional nights and/or weekends may be required.
Compensation: $47,000 to $52,000 commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in library science, social sciences, computer science, humanities, statistics, liberal arts, business, English, communication or related field.
- Two years of professional level experience.
*Minimum Qualification Substitution:
- A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis, but not for the specific two years of professional experience.
