Job Description
The Montrose Regional Library District is seeking applicants for a part-time Adult Services Librarian. This is a 20-hour per week position that includes evening and weekend hours. The starting salary for this position is $15/hr. Under general direction, the Adult Services Librarian performs a wide range of professional tasks related to the operation of the Adult Services department, with primary focus on adult reference and readers’ advisory; technology training and assistance; collection management; and teen summer reading program planning and delivery. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. A Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited from ALA is preferred. One year experience working as a library professional is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
