Head Librarian IV, Willmar (MN) Public Library
Pioneerland Library System, a consolidated regional library system located in west central Minnesota, seeks a Head Librarian with successful public library experience to direct and coordinate the activities of the Willmar (MN) Public Library.
Responsibilities include supervision of staff, budgeting, collection development, programming oversight and all other activities related to the operation and management of the library.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in library science and a minimum of two years’ work experience, including management experience, in a public or other type of library; or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience necessary to perform the essential duties of the work. Experience with supervising and coordinating the work of a larger contingent of library personnel is essential. Master’s degree in library science is preferred.
Position Open Until Filled
Appointment range: $47,900 – $51,800 per year DOQ. Competitive benefit package includes Minnesota Retirement (PERA).
