What you know: • Library principles, trends, and services • Child and adolescent development • Early literacy principles and initiatives • Digital literacy • Reader's advisory tools and resources • Collection development resources and practices • How to organize and prioritize tasks • Experience in planning programs and special events• Spanish language skills, strongly preferred
What you'll do: • Coordinate the weekly Reading Buddies literacy enrichment program • Collaborate in the planning and implementation of other library programs and events • Participate in the public service desk rotation, (some nights and weekends required) • Participate in work committees and teams with responsiveness, courtesy, and tact
