Job Description
The City of Chandler is pleased to offer temporary, part time employment opportunities with the City’s Library Division! These positions include both Library Page Pool and Library Technology Clerk positions. The work schedule for these positions will include days and evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, not to exceed 19 hours per week, and require individuals to have the flexibility to work varied work schedules. These positions are temporary status and will serve at the discretion of the department head.
Temp Library Page Pool: The primary function of an employee in this class is to shelve library materials in either alphabetical or numerical order and to pack and unpack materials. To qualify you may be either a high school student or graduate; and/or have experience performing basic clerical and customer service work.
Temp Library Techno Clerk: The primary function of an employee in this class is to greet customers and assist them in their use of library equipment and computers. To qualify, you may be either a high school student or graduate; and have customer service experience involving frequent public contact including basic computer skills.
