Job Description
Hastings Public Library is seeking two innovative and enthusiastic Librarians to interact with people of all ages.
In this position, we will look to the successful candidates to find learning opportunities that create magical, transformative experiences for babies, children, teens and adults. The successful candidates should demonstrate creativity, organizational skills, leadership, flexibility, and the ability to work well with others. As an integral part of the Library’s management team, the Librarians are expected to communicate openly and honestly and to be team players, working in cooperation with all department divisions as well as assisting and developing staff in the performance of their duties.

Hastings Public Library serves 25,000 residents of Hastings, Nebraska in the south central part of the Cornhusker state. The county of 31,000+ residents is primarily run on agriculture and is home to two wonderful secondary learning opportunities: Hastings College and Central Community College.
