Job Description

The Charles L. Tutt Library at Colorado College is seeking a Digital Scholarship & Repository Librarian.  Reporting to the Library Director, the Digital Scholarship & Repository Librarian will lead the planning, operations, and management for digital collections, including the Colorado College digital repository, Digital CC; participate in campus and regional digital scholarship initiatives; lead the development of scholarly communication programs on campus; serve as a liaison to assigned academic departments; and participate in shared instructional and research services responsibilities.  The incumbent will join a supportive, collaborative environment with rich opportunities for campus engagement and participation in professional development activities.

Additional Info & Requirements

Experience managing an institutional repository or other digital asset management system; experience managing digital collections projects; experience working in a special collection, archives or other cultural institution or as a record manager; experience with tools used to capture, manage, and deliver born-digital materials (e.g. Archive-IT, FTK, BitCurator, Bagit); experience training staff and providing feedback on performance; demonstrated knowledge of scholarly communication, copyright and intellectual property issues; ability to evaluate and implement technologies and tools to improve access and streamline workflows; interest in serving the needs of a small, residential undergraduate liberal arts campus and maximizing access to library resources.
