Young Adult Program Manager/Public Services Librarian
Converse County Library—Glenrock
The Converse County Library is looking for a Young Adult Program Manager/Public Services Librarian in Glenrock, WY. We have an exciting, full time position for a creative, energetic and organized individual to oversee programming and daily enrichment activities for our teen patrons. The Young Adult Program Manager is responsible for coordinating, managing, and overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs and services for the Library’s After School program and Summer Reading Program. Responsibilities include the planning, development, and implementation of all programs.
Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, a willingness to learn internal library operations, the ability to think critically, work with computers, tablets/smartphones, be a team player, and work evenings and weekends. The ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs is a requirement.
Preference will be given to applicants possessing a library degree from an ALA accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary range will be $30,500 - $36,000 per year based on qualifications and experience. Benefits package includes: health/dental/vision insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, paid vacation, and automatic payroll deposit.
