Be a part of a transformational library committed to connecting the community to new and creative resources in meaningful ways.
Under the general supervision of the Branch Services Manager, the Branch Programs and Events Librarian will provide strategic oversight, directional planning, administration and evaluation of branch programs with a focus on teens and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) programs for patrons of all ages. The librarian will divide work time between the branch libraries and the Main Library to ensure consistent, high quality programs and events by working collaboratively with program presenters and organizations, branch library staff, other library workgroups and city departments. The librarian will provide management and backup support to the branch managers and will serve at branch public service desks as needed.
