Job Description
The Douglas County Libraries has an exciting opportunity for a FT (40 hrs/wk) position with our Community Relations department in Castle Rock. This position performs and/or coordinates all public relations and outreach activities for the district. The position coordinates internal and external communications, messaging, branding and media relations. The position also works with community and library staff to plan, develop, evaluate and/or present outreach and community programs.Additional Info & Requirements
Starting salary is $18/hr w/generous benefits, but could be increased to be commensurate with skills and experience. High proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and editing skills required. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, English, Communications, Marketing, or related fields with a minimum of five years progressive experience in public relations, administrative or communication relations positions required; Masters’ degree preferred.The Community
