Job Description

The Parker Library has two openings for p/t (20 hrs/wk each) Materials Handler Technicians. Accurately shelves books and library materials. Maintains shelf order and appearance and checks in library materials. Demonstrates positive attitude towards patrons and staff.

Additional Info & Requirements

Must be able to work a mix of days, evenings and weekends. Candidates must be able to work as early as 7 am weekdays, 9 am Sundays. Position requires ability to stand for several hours per shift, to bend to floor level and to reach a height over 70 inches. Must be able to push movable carts loaded to a maximum of 250 pounds, carry 10 pounds and lift up to 35 pounds. Must have ability to learn library procedures and library computer system.
