Job Description
The position will engage in activities related to OER awareness and growth on the Auraria campus. Tasks and activities may include but are not limited to:
- Becoming competent in OER discovery resources and strategies through training and self-paced learning.
- Managing or assisting with creation, promotion, and participation in campus OER outreach events.
- Learning and presenting on OER publication, discovery and support tools, resources, or similar to students, staff, and faculty.
- Establishing campus student OER connections.
- Conduct faculty OER consultations.
- Coordination, clerical, or other needed tasks related to grant outcomes.
Every employee of the library is expected to treat others, and in return be treated, with respect and dignity. This position will receive training and support to acquire content competency in order to accomplish the tasks listed above.
Schedule: 10 hours per week. Hours are flexible Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm.
Compensation: $17.92/hr commensurate with skills and experience.

Start Date: As soon as practical. This is a temporary position funded through December 2019.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrolled in at least one credit at a higher education institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a graduate program of library science or related field of study.
- Demonstration of interest in librarianship, especially open education.
- Familiarity with Excel.
