Job Description

Work downtown at the Central Library as a key member of a team that fosters a culture of innovation, inquiry, and evaluation with a specific role to support activities related to the Library's customer-focused strategic work. Assist executive team with development of a new strategic framework and associated strategic process lifecycle. Work with leads to create project management expectations and develop evaluation plans for the library's strategic work. Help teams track and analyze resources and capacity, and create status reports. Serve as Project Manager for special cross-divisional projects. Be a bridge between teams and help foster collaboration across the library system. Liaise with the City's Peak Performance team to identify and conduct Lean process improvements and innovations. Coordinate processes to encourage innovative ideas from our staff. Supervise at least one data analyst.

Although the full salary range is provided for the position, offers depend on qualifications and typically do not exceed the midpoint. The City and County of Denver benefit package will be offered.

The schedule will be determined by the needs of the department and may include evening and weekend hours.

A Bachelor's degree.

A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Library and Information Sciences, or a related field (preferred, not required).

Three years of project management experience or project management certifications.

Supervisory experience (preferred, not required).
