We are looking for a Branch Manager for our Parachute Branch Library, a small branch in a diverse and rapidly-expanding community. The Branch Manager directs the day-to-day operation of the library and is responsible for facility and grounds, selection and circulation of materials, public services, community outreach and programming. The Branch Manager oversees 3.96 FTE staff and advises the Friends of the Library. This is an FLSA Exempt position with a minimum 40 hr. work week, involving some Saturdays and evenings. Garfield County is located in the Central Colorado mountains abounding with excellent hiking, skiing, white-water rafting and other outdoor recreation opportunities. The area is currently experiencing an economic boom, so housing may be a challenge. The library district has already received funding from the citizens of Garfield County to renovate or replace all six of its existing facilities, including the Parachute Branch.HR Info
