Job Description

Join a fun and dynamic youth services team at Longmont Public Library as a part-time Library Technician!  You will provide reference and customer service assistance to customers in the Children’s and Teens department, and provide assistance with programs for both children and teenagers. You will be a youth services desk substitute and also have several regular desk shifts throughout the week. Additional hours will be offered to help with special programs and events designed for birth-17 year olds and some outreach.  You will also help create attractive and diverse book displays and foster a safe space for children and their grown-ups. Experience working and serving diverse populations and the Spanish speaking population is strongly desired as is working with youth in a public library setting.

Additional Info & Requirements

Bilingual English-Spanish skills preferred, at least 1 year of work in a public library setting or related early childhood field preferred.  Must be available to work nights and weekends.
