REFERENCE LIBRARIAN, Regis University, Denver, Colorado Regis University and Dayton Memorial Library seek a part-time Reference Librarian (.65 fte) to join a service-oriented team on its Lowell Blvd. campus. Responsibilities include reference desk service, occasional library instruction, and collection development for one department. This librarian will work Wednesday through Saturday, including Thursday 1 to 10 p.m. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a M.L.S. degree, preferably from an ALA-accredited school and one year of experience as a professional librarian. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills. He or she must have a very good understanding of print and online reference sources likely to be used in an academic library. Training opportunities will be provided. Compensation: $25.74/hour. Benefits are included. TIAA-CREF participation after one year of employment. Vacation and other leave time are pro-rated. Setting: Regis University is a Jesuit liberal arts institution with an f.t.e. enrollment of 6,500. Learning takes place on 6 campuses in Colorado and Nevada and through an extensive on-line program. Dayton Memorial Library is an attractive, networked facility with 250,000 volumes, 100 library databases, and a staff of 16 professionally active librarians.
