Rangeview Library District, Adams County Colorado is on the edge of major expansion and we are looking for sure-footed leaders to help us grow. Voter approved funding will almost triple our resources Building 4 new Libraries Major remodels for 2 of our current branches Located in northeast Denver, Adams County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state. If you are an energetic, innovative problem solver that can provide leadership and hands-on guidance come join us for the adventure. We are looking for a knowledgeable, innovated professional to provide technology support for the District. The successful candidate will support our help desk, databases and systems to include SQL based applications for Integrated Library System (ILS) and financial package. This hands-on role will include: • Support and maintain of our SQL databases which include the ILS system and financial package. • Part of the IT Help Desk team that will support computer operations, network communications, and telecommunications, including hardware and software for desktop computers, laptop computers, workstations, printers, storage devices, network devices, and telecommunication devices for public and staff systems at 7 different locations around Adams County. • Be point person for the implementation of a new Integrated Library System as well as maintenance of the chosen system. • Assist in the administration of the Windows Servers. • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Info & Requirements

Requirements: • Seven years of increasingly responsible experience in technology to include a combination of Systems/Network Administration, DBA, and Help desk support experience. • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff • Advanced SQL programming experience • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications including Windows, Office (2003) and SQL • Project planning and work process documentation experience • Must also be able to lift 30 lbs equipment on a daily basis Preferred experience: • A+ certification • Knowledge in Apple Computers • Working knowledge of various programming languages to include open source. • Working knowledge of Integrated Library Systems.
