Job Description

The City of Aurora is seeking a Library Supervisor to oversee its youth services team. The selected hire will have the following responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementing, and overseeing youth services programing
  • Preparing reports
  • Creating staffing schedules and plans
  • Administering and tracking budgets and expenditures
  • Providing and implementing policy and procedure recommendations
  • Responding to difficult and complex customer service issues which may involve juvenile patrons
  • Responsible for managing youth services staff - this includes conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline, and termination procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
