Work at the Ross-Barnum Branch Library to provide customer service through the performance of both circulation and security responsibilities. Create positive experiences for library customers by checking out and returning books and other library materials, registering customers for library cards, placing holds and ordering books and other library materials from other agencies, correcting database holdings and other varied clerical duties. Check entire building and secure points of entry, exits and interior areas at opening/closing. Ensure customer and staff compliance with general safety/security rules and regulations. Manage and report accidents and incidents that occur on library property. Support the library's goal of being a learning organization by participating in approved learning opportunities. Support other library functions as needed.

Although the full salary range for this position is provided, starting salary is typically made at or near the range minimum. The City and County of Denver benefit package will be offered.
The schedule will be determined by the needs of the department and will include evening and weekend hours.

A high school diploma or equivalency.
A current Colorado driver's license with a good driving record.
Conversational Spanish skills.
