Job Purpose / Overview:
The Sales Consultant will secure new sales / first-year subscriptions and successfully communicate with potential and new subscribers through cold calls, emails, webinars, conferences, meetings, and seminars.
Responsibilities:
Securing, tracking, billing, and follow-up with all new sales / first-year subscribers.
Communicating with prospects and potential subscribers through cold calls, emails, webinars, conferences, and seminars.
Networking with librarians and field professionals to share positive experiences with Compendium's products and services.
Participate and/or lead webinars, conferences and seminars for trials, new sales, renewing and first-year subscribers.
Prove effective sales by securing an agreed-upon annual quota.
