OtherThe Oregon State Library (OSL) seeks to fill one permanent full-time position in Salem. This position manages the Government Research Services (GRS) Team of 19.84 FTE. This position is management service supervisory and is not represented by a union. The individual in this position is a part of the State's Management Team. The GRS Team programs are funded by an assessment from state agencies to provide information services for state employees. GRS positions work in a team-based environment, characterized by team responsibility for the details of job design, workflow, and quality control. GRS provides high quality information services to assist state employees in the efficient performance of their jobs and in more effective decision making for state government; and oversees the operations of the State Library’s information technology services. GRS also provides general research assistance to citizens of Oregon in the use of the Oregon State Library’s collections, which emphasize Oregon government and its publications.
