A passion for building high-quality web applications. Knowledge of Drupal and an ability to build custom Drupal modules and themes. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for designing, developing, and testing software in a given environment. Facility with PHP, HTML, CSS, and jQuery. Knowledge of information technology systems analysis, including systems design, sufficient to be able to maintain current systems and implement new systems. Familiarity with version control systems. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for analyzing and developing software test and evaluation procedures. Knowledge of database function and design sufficient to be able to programmatically interact with Drupal (MYSQL) databases. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. Ability to thrive working in an environment with people from all backgrounds and age groups. Ability to demonstrate positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and a sense of humor in working with customers, coworkers and community. Understanding of or willingness to learn native mobile applications languages desirable.
Three years of professional experience in full life cycle development of web applications, including strong experience with Drupal. Experience working with PHP, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and MySQL.
A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
The ability to pass a background check after the offer to hire has been made.
We Provide:
$28.66 - $37.20 per hour starting salary range, $28.66 - $45.74 per hour full salary range. Although the full salary range for this position is provided, offers are typically made within the starting salary range and depend on qualifications. The City and County of Denver benefit package will be offered.
Regular, full-time, 40 hours per week. The schedule will be determined by the needs of the department and may include evening and weekend hours.
