Job Description

McREL International provides products and services, primarily for K-12 educators, to promote the best instructional practices in the classroom.

The Administrative Specialist for the Resource Center/Institutional Development will be a Part-time position (20 hours per week). This position will support the various core functions of the Resource Center and Institutional Development.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Typing, proofreading, editing, and formatting documents
  • Checking in and out library books and resources, maintaining library appearance and efficiency by shelving, shifting, restocking supplies, etc. in addition to rearranging collection for optimal ease of use
  • Retrieving articles as requested
  • Tracking proposals from submission through execution
  • Supporting Institutional Development on data and document collection from project teams
  • Researching grant websites to identify new funding opportunities
  • Maintaining department SharePoint sites
  • Collaborating with other departments on database management
  • Other related duties as assigned, including assisting others in their responsibilities

Additional Info & Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and follow through required
  • High level efficiency with MS Office and MS Applications
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and produce work independently while supporting a variety of members in a workgroup. This includes some decision making, discretion and judgment regarding routine matters.
