Library Assistant, Part-Time (20 hours a week, Monday through Thursday 12;30pm-5:30pm)

Platt College in Aurora, Colorado, is seeking a part-time library assistant for immediate hire.
Purpose:
Support personnel in the Knowledge Resource Library.
Duties:
· Assists with special projects.
· Copy cataloging marc records from Library of Congress and Worldcat into Library World.
· Provides research assistance/reference to Faculty and students.
· Check in, check out, shelving of books.
· Updates Faculty and student usage statistics.
· Proctors Assessment Technologies Incorporated test for potential nursing students.
· Assists with weeding of the collection and suggestions for collection development.
· Processes Inter-Library loan for medical articles via the government Docline system.
· Assists Information Specialist with library instruction as needed.
· Collaborates with faculty in creating the textbook list and ensuring the faculty have their adopted textbooks/online resources for classes.
