Physical attributes of standing, kneeling, walking and lifting up to 60 pounds as work activity, set-up and daily activities may be required. May require additional training and/or performance of duties outside normal work hours as assigned/required. Will be required to provide own transportation to and from library locations or within the metropolitan area as needed. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field preferred. Advanced, proven experience with PHP, MySQL, CSS, XHTML, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, VBScript, HTML and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Strong demonstrated background in Microsoft Suite (Access, Word and Excel). Experience with SQL Server database configuration. Advanced, proven experience in the design and maintenance of web-based communications and network tools including, blogs, wikis and other social media applications. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to utilize project management skills and work at a high level of attention to detail.
