The Access Services Librarian manages the day-to-day operations of the Library and Learning Commons at Arapahoe Community College. This position oversees the circulation desk, manages electronic resources, and ensures patron accounts are current and accurate.
The Access Services Librarian will write and implement circulation policies and procedures, track lost and overdue material, and maintain accounts within the circulation system. The Access Services Librarian will oversee cataloging and processing of acquired and reserve materials, manage deselection projects, and conduct inventory audits.
The Access Services Librarian also hires, trains, and supervises student employees and provides coverage when student employees are unavailable to staff the circulation counter.

Required Qualifications
- Master of Library & Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
- Must be available to open the library on weekdays requiring a 7:45 AM arrival.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive learning and work environment and demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Part-time experience will be pro-rated; four years of applicable part-time experience is equivalent to two years of full-time experience.
- Two years of professional library experience in academic and/or public libraries.
