The City of Littleton has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative Librarian to join the Bemis Public Library’s Adult Services team.

The Programming and Outreach Librarian will be responsible for leading the management, design, and implementation of library programs and classes for adults and seniors. The Programming and Outreach Librarian also assists with and participates in outreach efforts throughout the community. Librarians provide expert and excellent customer service to library patrons, answer reference, technology, and reader’s advisory questions, and instruct on how to use library services and resources, including print, electronic reference resources and digital content.

The ideal candidate is an adaptable and creative librarian with a deep understanding of adult and senior-focused programming, a passion for community engagement, and a lifelong love for learning. They thrive on building strong community connections, promoting inclusivity, and creating vibrant, engaging programs that cater to diverse needs. Hiring pay range $62,605 - $65,900 per year

This full-time position is exempt per FLSA and is not eligible for overtime compensation.

Work Schedule: Exact schedule to be determined. Monday-Friday/Saturday, weekends and evenings required.
