The Deputy Library Director – City Services with the City of Flagstaff is a dynamic leadership opportunity for a collaborative and forward-thinking professional passionate about public service and community impact. This role oversees multiple library departments and locations, guiding daily operations, staff supervision, and the delivery of high-quality services to residents and visitors alike. Working closely with the Library Director, the Deputy Library Director helps shape organizational strategy, develop policies, manage budgets, and ensure library services continue to meet the evolving needs of the community. The position also supports system-wide coordination, safety, and innovation across programs, collections, outreach, and customer experiences. In the Director’s absence, this role provides steady leadership and direction for the library system, helping ensure continued excellence, connection, and access for all.
