Job Description

The Arthur Lakes Library of Colorado School of Mines invites applications for the position of Instruction and Research Librarian.

This position will work collaboratively across the institution to enable all library users to find information efficiently and effectively through the delivery of high-quality instruction and research assistance. Will develop, implement and assess a range of innovative information literacy instruction programs, and perform instruction and outreach in collaboration with librarians and instructors. As part of the research team, this position provides reference services including assisting library users, supporting information research, promoting knowledge of scholarly communication, and collaborating on user experience and web content.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in library science from an ALA accredited school (or equivalent) by date of employment and either a bachelor’s degree or experience in a STEM field.
