Essential Functions and Objectives:
The Librarian teaches diverse students and staff how to be effective users of ideas and information. Coordinates, communicates and collaborates with teachers to develop learning opportunities to teach information skills. Manages, train, and coordinate library staff, including volunteers. Manages the library collection which includes coordinating the acquisition, placement, circulation, and maintenance of all resources in the library.

Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:

- Current Colorado Department of Education School Librarian License, OR qualify for Alternative Licensure and passing score on the PLACE or Praxis II.

- Previous school library experience preferred.

- Experience working with culturally diverse populations desired.
