Job Description
Regis University seeks an on-call reference librarian for occasional work, particularly for nights and weekends, at the Dayton Memorial Library. The library serves a diverse population of 6,500 on-campus and online students in the liberal arts, health care, computer science, and business programs. Regis University has a significant adult student and distance education program. Qualified candidates must possess an MLS/ALA degree and 1 year of experience as a professional librarian. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, and experience with online reference sources likely to be found in an academic library. Training will be provided. Familiarity with business and health reference sources is a plus. Work opportunities occur on an as-needed basis, approximately 6 to 12 hours per month. Shifts may occur days, evenings, and/or weekends depending on departmental needs.Posted Sep 26, 2008
