Job Description
City of Durango Public Library seeks a dynamic Librarian for the position of Librarian Supervisor – Children and Teen Services. Provides leadership for the development and implementation of programs for children & teen. Position will lead in planning creative programs. Also works reference, provides oversight of circulation staff, flexibility and working varying shifts including evenings and weekends; handles children and teen collection development; develops library public relations materials; and is a member of the management team. Requires Master's Degree in Library Science (MLS), 4 years of increasingly responsible professional library experience including: supervision and evaluation of staff, current technology skills, and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Prefer at least 2 yrs. working with children and youth.Additional Info & Requirements
